Marcelo Papa visits key accounts and journalists in UK
Our technical director of Viña Concha y Toro led meetings with British media to share the latest updates from the company’s high-end wine portfolio. He also took part in a new event with The Wine Society.
At the end of May, Marcelo Papa, Technical director and Winemaker at Viña Concha y Toro, carried out an intense schedule of activities in the United Kingdom to present to key british media the latest developments in the winery’s portfolio of premium brands, including Amelia, Marques de Casa Concha Heritage, and Terrunyo.
One of the highlights of the agenda was a press dinner held under the concept “A Tale of 3 Terroirs”, which took place in Brighton, London. During the event, five labels from Viña Concha y Toro’s luxury portfolio were showcased. Marcelo gave an in-depth presentation on the qualities of these wines and the exceptional characteristics of their origins.
The event was attended by prominent UK wine journalists from The Buyer,The Drinks Business; and Sophia Longhi, acclaimed wine writer and international wine judge (IWSC).
During his visit to the UK, Marcelo also participated in a new event organized by The Wine Society and held in Tunbridge Wells, London, where he presented Amelia Chardonnay and Amelia Pinot Noir to more than 500 members of this prestigious wine organization.
Marcelo Papa’s visit to the UK represented a valuable opportunity to strengthen the positioning of Viña Concha y Toro’s Luxury Brands portfolio, as well as to reinforce ties with key accounts and media contacts in one of the company’s most important markets.
