Inside Marcelo Papa latest trip to Brazil
As part of efforts to strengthen the presence of Concha y Toro ultra-premium wine portfolio, the company’s Technical Director and Winemaker led a series of key activities with clients, sales teams, and media across strategic Brazilian cities.
Marcelo Papa carried out an intensive agenda in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Salvador, aiming to reinforce the positioning of Concha y Toro’s fine wines in the Brazilian market, including Amelia Chardonnay, Amelia Pinot Noir, and Marques de Casa Concha Heritage.
The trip included events with clients, training sessions for the sales teams of different distribution channels, meetings with media representatives, and interviews with major Brazilian outlets such as Seu Dinheiro and Alô Alô Bahia.
Among the most notable moments were exclusive wine dinners organized in collaboration with local distributors in each city, such as KING Bebidas and Cabral & Sousa. These intimate events gathered select groups of 20 to 30 guests — including clients, influencers, and journalists — who enjoyed a high-level gastronomic experience in prestigious restaurants like Gero Itaim (São Paulo), Nido (Rio de Janeiro), and Mistura Contorno (Salvador). Each menu was specially curated to pair with our ultra-premium wines: Amelia Chardonnay 2023, Amelia Pinot Noir 2022, and Marques de Casa Concha Heritage 2021.
These initiatives not only received excellent feedback from participants, but also delivered immediate, positive results — boosting brand visibility and directly driving consumer sales.
Marcelo’s recent visit to Brazil has undoubtedly strengthened the positioning of our Luxury Brands portfolio in this important market, while also deepening relationships with key accounts, distributors, and media contacts.
